No psychos in psychology?

A sociopathic identifying reader whom I had previously had a conversation with recently sent me this update:

I was recently released from my graduate program in psychology, more than halfway through my program. I assure you that I was not released due to low grades, I don't struggle in that area. I was released due to flat affect. They felt that I didn't make a good fit. After being told of my release of the program, my professor grew frustrated because I didn't react much to the news. I didn't feel like becoming self-destructive or venting. I had already gotten on good terms with a professor from another school who will transfer me to his program. I made friends with this professor for this reason. Is that manipulative or just smart thinking? When my professor was telling me about my release from the program he looked concern for my well being. All I could do was stare at him and think what it would be like to bite his lips off his face in front of the other professors. This reminded me of an excerpt in your book. Just thought I would share.

I don't know why, but I was a little shocked and pretty disheartened to read this. I guess in some ways it makes sense, particularly if you assume that all sociopaths will cause harm -- it's not a matter if if, it's when and who and how. But is that assumption really warranted? (By the way, I just recently got an email from a secondary school student doing research into what makes sociopaths want to kill. Good question, except it's almost as nonsensical as asking something like what makes black people want to kill? Or even more starkly, what makes men want to kill? See here, here, and here regarding the very lopsided statistics regarding gender/race and propensity to commit violent crime.) There are people with autism that study and contribute to the greater understanding of autism as well as helping others with autism. There are people who are schizophrenics who do the same. Is there really no room in psychology for psychopaths?

When I asked him if I could let people know what happened to him here, he indicated that he was concerned that some would assume that psychology must be filled with evil psychopaths, so gave this explanation as to why he was interested:

As far back as I can remember, there has always been an appeal to power and saving lives.  I have specifically chosen to work with the traumatized.  Sitting across the room from someone with PTSD, is pure fantasy for me.  It's like a fairy tale. A wounded bird has been put before me, and I have the power to step on it or fix it.  Of course I fix it, because it's something that friends and family were most likely not able to do.  In return, I set it free to take its place back in the environment. Because of me, I have ensured survival for its offspring.  I have given the tools and psychoeducation so that one can cope and participate in life.  It will be passed on through nurture and eventually become part of its nature.

  5. I identify as a sociopath. Recently I've been exploring ideas for different career paths, and have been speaking with a career counselor. I tell her I'm interested in working closely with people, perhaps as a social worker or counselor myself. She's aware of my personality traits that I felt inclined to divulge, and she said someone like myself who doesn't have that emotional empathy can't possibly be successful in those fields. I'm confident in the fact that my cognitive empathy is just fine for this; how else would so many of my friends that I lend an ear to tell me I would make an excellent counselor? I already have my own processes of efficiently working with other people's emotions, that's simply a facet of what sociopathy is. We inquire about their state, take note of what emotions we observe, get reaffirmation of their state, then seek to provide a feasible solution and validate their current state; we mould them into something that suits us.

Yes, exactly. There's certainly the factor of power involved, the stroking of one's own ego like mental masturbation. It's delicious.

    1. My psychologist never showed affective empathy.

He did teach me to unpick the locks of other people's moral and control structures and to treat others as objects (his words!) in the environment.

His was cognitive empathy, independent thinking and reasonably skilled practice. It was perfectly evident his primary concern was his business and not my welfare.

But emotional investment in patients would simply be too draining.

As you point out, a psychopath / sociopath is well equipped to analyse current state and shift to target state.

Any psychologist is in a position of power and can inculcate their own ideologies or any silly cognitive practices they personally adhere to. The concern here is putting someone with a proclivity to damage in a position of power over a vulnerable person - M.E.'s question of assuming sociopaths will inevitably harm.
The palpable buzz of will-to-power in your writing raises some flags. How could you resist playing or creating cash cows! That would be the thinking.

It may be likely or even probable that therapists choose their vocation for reasons other than desire to assist others. The difference - and I think this is really the major difference, the only warranted concern we have about psychopaths- is the pleasure a psychopath takes in the pain of others.

What evidence is there for each case? What do you think the risks are? Those red flags I spoke of, like hair standing up on the back of the neck, are deeper than reason and people would expect a very solid case to mitigate those deep fear triggers.

Re your last para: Doctors probably feel this same thrill from healing a flailing organism. Must feel amazing.

    2. Oh, I don't think research fields pose this problem. Psychopaths would probably contribute immensely. We'd uncover so many assumptions in our understanding of the human condition.

You know what makes people tick. You have an uncanny ability to see through the lies people tell themselves, and others. It fulfills you to expose their vulnerable underbellies.

"She's aware of my personality traits that I felt inclined to divulge"

In your narcissism, do not divulge too much. Find a safe place to drop the "masks"- where you can integrate all your contradictory facets.

"and she said someone like myself who doesn't have that emotional empathy can't possibly be successful in those fields."

You can be more successful than most in these fields by on account of your piercing insight, and capacity to *see* people- right through the stories they may tell you- and identify their true strengths and weaknesses. Store that information up as potential ammo. You never know when it might become useful. :)

" I'm confident in the fact that my cognitive empathy is just fine for this; how else would so many of my friends that I lend an ear to tell me I would make an excellent counselor?"

But only when you feel like it... 'Cause let's face it... you don't *really* give a shit. ;)

"I already have my own processes of efficiently working with other people's emotions, that's simply a facet of what sociopathy is."

I've often said that sociopaths are effortlessly and even sometimes unconsciously manipulative. It is simply our default mode of operation.

" We inquire about their state, take note of what emotions we observe, get reaffirmation of their state, then seek to provide a feasible solution and validate their current state; we mould them into something that suits us."

Precisely. Build them up, break them down.... To benefit us, or them, or better yet- both parties.

I am not very fond of labels, but I am good at reading people. From what you have written here, I would agree with your self-identification as a sociopath.

"As far back as I can remember, there has always been an appeal to power and saving lives. "

Yeah. I used to want to be a surgeon, but I suck at math. :P

I started my own thing, which was for the best. Ultimately, I could never stand to work under anyone else's authority. My sociopathy has a strong antisocial undercurrent.

I would highly recommend becoming an entrepreneur- especially considering how comfortable you are with risk. Another assumption, but an accurate one, I trust.

Don't bite any lips off, now. ;)

If you choose to become a counselor, the weakness of your clients will irritate you. Perhaps I am projecting, or being presumptuous in saying this, but I suspect that you will get bored and/or annoyed listening to people whine about their problems all day. The urge to toy with them will soon become irresistible.

You may want to consider managing people, to harness their strengths towards specific ends, whilst "counseling" them informally. If you do this within the framework of your own company, project, or initiative, you can influence others towards the goals of your choosing- whilst holding yourself accountable to a desired, self-defined outcome. You can use your charisma, charm, intelligence and eloquence to boldly pursue your agenda.

Find ways to sublimate your sociopathic propensities. (This place is fun.... Lots of juicy targets passing through.) And never underestimate the power of good, kinky sex that is focused on visceral, consensual power exchange.

"Yes, exactly. There's certainly the factor of power involved, the stroking of one's own ego like mental masturbation. "

  6. Maybe we just figured it out!!! Maybe the main difference between "psycopaths/sociopaths" and "normals" is basically that "psychopaths/sociopaths" enjoy "mentally masturbating" other people, more than "normals" do. Not that "normals" don't enjoy "mentally masturbating" others sometimes, just maybe not quite as much. We all probably enjoy sexual maturbation equally.:) What does everybody think???

  12. It's ironic that somehow everyone neglects the fact that a sociopath / psychopath is almost certainly a pathological liar and even if they're not - they CAN lie at will at any moment. If a psycho / socio wants sincere advice, I'd tell them to speak to me in person. I can read people very well and have gotten far better now that I'm normal (freed from my recent trauma) and believe in God. In person you don't get this sort of contradiction and nonsense if you implore them enough. Your sociopath wants to be a psychiatrist, wanted to bite off his professor's lips for actually giving him a look of concern. This reminds me of a socio ex-friend who'd get pissed ONLY when I asked him how he was feeling post-molly. It's only a mystery if you avoid the one & only explanation for psychopathy and look for answers in the pseudo science known as psychology (I've dealt with psychologists for almost 6 years now).

I do NOT know ultimately what is this person's agenda or why they get certain impulses and why they're behaving in certain ways. Here's what I am confident about tho: this guy hates genuine empathy / concern so when he saw it in his professor's face he was repulsed and felt what he felt. As to why he wants to be a psychiatrist - it is in direct contradiction to what he said earlier. How on earth is it EVER possible that a sane person can at one instance desire to harm someone for no reason except that they genuine are concerned for their WELL BEING but then turn around and desire to join an entire profession to help the helpless, poor PTSD cases. It is ONLY possible if 1) psychopathy is a brain disease leading to such contradictory thoughts and behavior, 2) psychopathy is what I claim it is: the ultimate result of taking the road to hell - following the devil's path.

  13. If you seen GOOD WILL HUNTING you should pick up an obvious fact which very few, if any psychologists, want to admit (or know): mental health is dependent on genuine concern & care for people - NOT some Freudian nonsense about childhood attractions to relatives nor the whole host of BS "disorders" now listed in the DSM. And yes, I agree that psychos should NOT be allowed in psychology - it'll make a pseudo science even worse. That won't stop them of course - any intelligent psychopath will easily get in. In fact I'd claim that psychopaths (as opposed to sociopaths per my definition) are disproportionately higher in percentages in this profession already. Real people who really care to help others don't need science to tell them how to cure "mental" problems (except mental disease which is undoubtedly real).

    ReplyDelete
  14. Childhood trauma explains why an otherwise sane and healthy mind would became in self-destructive and sociopathic ways. It does NOT explain the trauma itself. Why did the parents (or whoever it was that traumatized the child) behaved in that manner towards an innocent child. Psychologists will say because they themselves were disturbed. That's obvious and is not what is asked in my question. I'm asking where does it start? I've had a lot of problems in my life but I was never envious of those who didn't have them nor hated others and certainly did not have any impulse to cause harm to others - especially if they were children (innocent) or have done good to me. Think people - use your OWN reason. I promise you it will suffice in the end unless you have a sickness of the heart (pride & arrogance).

  17. Psychopaths are used in psychology, but from an angle of case study and interviews. That was how the FBI developed their serial killer profiling unit.

I realize that just because one is a sociopath, does not mean that they will criminally offend, just as there are plenty of criminal offenders who are "normal" people. If one is able to live their life as a sociopath without doing harm to another, that is excellent and commendable that they've stayed on the path of "good".

However, and I realize this comes from a place of prejudice, those of us who are "normal" don't know how to trust that a sociopath will not falter from their path. Trust is a major factor in the relationship between doctor and patient.

This is true. On the other hand, how do you if/when a "normal" will not falter from the path.

Doors of perception and operation swing both ways. The socio, lacking emotional 'grounding' can still make a rational choice of self interest which serves the collective well being. It's a choice they have to struggle with more than most, given their propensities.

Trust is an issue with any being with a mammalian brain stem. I would speculate that socios understand the issue of trust more deeply than do neurotypicals or empaths.

    4. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's noticed that people tend to like people who are nice, trustworthy and "self-sacrificial." If you come across someone who is too nice and too caring and too giving and it is apparent that they are not idiots who don't know what they're doing, then something moves inside you. You genuinely appreciate that. In fact, it actually makes you a somewhat better person because it inspires you, even if it's ever so lightly. That is also why people who suffer and act bravely & "honorably" humble us and motivate us to take action (i.e. Dr. King, Nelson Mandela etc). Ask yourself why? What do these people have that most people don't? It's EMPATHY (and more but that's "subjective").

"However, and I realize this comes from a place of prejudice, those of us who are "normal" don't know how to trust that a sociopath will not falter from their path. Trust is a major factor in the relationship between doctor and patient."

So when I first suspected that my ex-friend and some family members were actually sociopathic, my reaction was: 1) well that explains a lot and it's unfortunate for them and me, 2) why didn't they just tell me before? I wouldn't hold it against them. Mind you this is AFTER YEARS of deception & betrayal by the ones in my own family. I did not have any animosity towards them anymore because I thought I got an answer which "cleared" them. All the needless suffering was just an unfortunate happenstance which I became a victim of.

I literally treated it like a natural variation in the human experience (kind of like how I viewed my homosexual orientation) which is frankly dangerous but ultimately beyond a person's control. I tried to work it out with them. I suggested that they trust me - since my track record with them proves that I have no motive to do them any harm or lie to them - and never lie to me. I will keep their "secret" and they should not tell me of any wrongdoing that I will be uncomfortable with. I seriously meant it - I thought I could be reasonable and these people victims of nature would trust me because surely they don't want to be alone and hide all the time. I do have justification to rail against him. I am speaking on behalf of all the little girls getting mutilated to uphold his so-called "teachings"... On behalf of all the queer men he murdered, on behalf of all the Christian and Jewish infidels he beheaded and crucified. People believe you because they don't want to believe people can lie like this - NOT because they're fooled or stupid. That's why when you're "outed" you run away instead of mounting a defense."

Lol, what classic projection. YOU'RE the one eschewing confrontation, running away from legitimate criticism, and failing to mount any kind of defense!

You're a pussy, Jihadi. Ripping through you is like shooting fish in a barrel. XD

  22. You know with each passing day my belief in God is getting more and more solidified. It's nothing short of a "miracle" for me than in two months I'm as firmly based in God as I once was in atheism. Look inside yourself "A" and whoever else has any remnants of humanity in them. What kind of a person have you become? Look, just look once objectively if possible, at what you write, HOW you write, and WHY you write. Is this how you want to live? Sure you're getting away with it since you're anonymous but in the end you know who you are and what you're putting out.

If you actually believe what you say (and I doubt that very much unless you're completed deluded) at least take into consideration one thing: 1.6 billion people love this man you vehemently criticize. You can believe what you like about him but at least have some courtesy for the people you think are "deluded" by him and put your criticism in a more respectful way. Surely you don't think that 1.6 billion people are evil or deserve to hear what you say in the manner you say it. I say this as someone who only 6 months or so ago suggested to a friend that he work on a hideously derogatory drawing of Muhammad and Jesus. I've been there (albeit I've never actually stooped to that level - of actually doing anything) in spirit but God protected me from ever actually doing anything offensive - no matter how much I hated Islam I didn't feel justified offending people who, I thought, were genuinely deluded into the religion.

It may be that God may turn you into an equally strong proponent of that which you despise today. It is beautiful how He guides - it is not describable, not provable but only to be experienced if you ask for it and deserve it. If nothing else trust me on this and try it. You have nothing to lose. Don't stay miserable and feign happiness and power and courage here. It's not real no matter how much you think it is or how many people you fool.

Are you in touch with all of your darkest fantasies?
Have you created a life for yourself where you can experience them?
I have. I am fucking crazy.

    2. J.J: "What kind of a person have you become?"

The kind of person who initiates and directs growing, thriving non-profits that feed poor Muslim kids from the projects every week.

How's that for irony, Jonaid? :)

J.J: " Look, just look once objectively if possible, at what you write, HOW you write, and WHY you write. Is this how you want to live?"

As for the WHY: I am writing in defense of generations of victims produced by Mohammed's vile example.

As for the HOW: I am using my voice aggressively and unapologetically- refusing to whitewash a toxic ideology out of feigned respect for a mass murderer, because I will not be intimidated or silenced into Islam's version of "submission" by the radicalized percentage of the 1.6 billion DELUDED people who love someone more UNWORTHY of that devotion than virtually anyone who has ever lived.

And I am countering your deceptive proselytizing efforts here, using your OWN so called "holy" scriptures. That I am having a hellova a good time mopping the figurative floor of this blog with your posts is just a bonus.

So yeah. This is *EXACTLY* how I want to live, but to quote you, thanks for your "concern". :)

J.J: "Sure you're getting away with it since you're anonymous but in the end you know who you are and what you're putting out."

"Getting away with"? What a revealing statement.

I have said everything I am saying to you here quite vocally and publically. And I will continue to stand for and put out TRUTH as I understand it.

Don't like my approach? Too fucking bad.

J.J: "If you actually believe what you say (and I doubt that very much unless you're completed deluded) at least take into consideration one thing: 1.6 billion people love this man you vehemently criticize."

So what? That doesn't make them right.

J.J: "You can believe what you like about him but at least have some courtesy for the people you think are "deluded" by him and put your criticism in a more respectful way."

Why should I? Mohammed hasn't done anything to earn my respect, only my disdain. He put to DEATH those who criticized him. Is that courteous? By his standards, I am being downright magnanimous. :P

J.J: "Surely you don't think that 1.6 billion people are evil or deserve to hear what you say in the manner you say it."

On the contrary, I think they need to hear it in EXACTLY the manner I'm saying it. People should stop pussyfooting around Islam.

You demand respect, but show none to those who embrace different ideologies, seeking instead to revoke our fundamental human rights and freedoms through the forced imposition of a legislative theocracy. Fuck you.

J.J: "It may be that God may turn you into an equally strong proponent of that which you despise today. It is beautiful how He guides - it is not describable, not provable but only to be experienced if you ask for it and deserve it.

      Deserve it? Ha!

That is the whole point of grace. None of us merit salvation. Jesus showed us that we cannot earn what God offers as a free gift; we can only receive it. That is the central message of the cross.

You can't force someone to accepting a gift, nor should you attempt to manipulate them into doing so. That is yet another reason I don't preach or proselytize. I respect the rights and freedoms of others to believe (or disbelieve) as they so choose. It is not for me to try to change their minds, nor judge them on that basis.

J.J: "And that if nothing else trust me on this and try it. You have nothing to lose."

I neither trust you, nor have any need of your false god. Christ's loss was my gain. I'm not swallowing your bullshit- and, according to the resounding consensus of this blog- neither is anyone else.

Peddle your Islamofascism elsewhere. We're not buying what you're selling, here.

“It is *YOU* who strains at gnats whilst swallowing whole caravans of Mohammed's camels.”

I really like your frolicsome take on this “segment.”

Here is a revealing find that I "dug up." Is this what 6.1 billion people respect and follow? They must be living under a gargantuan, illiterate rock! I laughed while reading every single line of it.

Again, is this Islam? Truthfully, yes. Take a look:

      Volume 7, Book 67, Number 403:

      Narrated Ibn Abi Aufa:

We participated with the Prophet in six or seven Ghazawat, and we used to eat locusts with him.

      Volume 4, Book 54, Number 537:

      Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said “If a house fly falls in the drink of anyone of you, he should dip it (in the drink), for one of its wings has a disease and the other has the cure for the disease.”

      Volume 7, Book 65, Number 366:

      Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas:

The Prophet said, ‘When you eat, do not wipe your hands till you have licked it, or had it licked by somebody else.”

      Volume 7, Book 71, Number 636:

      Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, “The effect of an evil eye is a fact.”

      Volume 4, Book 54, Number 536:

      Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah’s Apostle said, “Once while a prophet amongst the prophets was taking a rest underneath a tree, an ant bit him. He, therefore, ordered that his luggage be taken away from underneath that tree and then ordered that the dwelling place of the ants should be set on fire. Allah sent him a revelation:— “Wouldn’t it have been sufficient to burn a single ant? (that bit you)

      Volume 7, Book 65, Number 362:

      Narrated ‘Abdul ‘Aziz:

It was said to Anas “What did you hear the Prophet saying about garlic?” Anas replied, “Whoever has eaten (garlic) should not approach our mosque.”

      Volume 1, Book 4, Number 210:

      Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas:

Allah’s Apostle drank milk, rinsed his mouth and said, “It has fat.”

      Volume 7, Book 65, Number 368:

      Narrated Abu Umama:

Whenever the dining sheet of the Prophet was taken away (i.e., whenever he finished his meal), he used to say: “Al-hamdu lillah kathiran taiyiban mubarakan fihi ghaira makfiy wala muwada’ wala mustaghna’anhu Rabbuna.”

      Volume 7, Book 69, Number 535:

      Narrated Thumama bin Abdullah:

Anas used to breathe twice or thrice in the vessel (while drinking) and used to say that the Prophet used to take three breaths while drinking.

    8. Volume 1, Book 4, Number 143:

      Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas:

The Prophet said, “If anyone of you on having sexual relations with his wife said (and he must say it before starting) ‘In the name of Allah. O Allah! Protect us from Satan and also protect what you bestow upon us (i.e. the coming offspring) from Satan, and if it is destined that they should have a child then, Satan will never be able to harm that offspring.”

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 11, Number 660:

      Quote: Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, “Isn’t he who raises his head before the Imam afraid that Allah may transform his head into that of a donkey or his figure (face) into that of a donkey?”

      Volume 4, Book 54, Number 494:

      Narrated Ibn Umar:

Allah’s Apostle said, “When the (upper) edge of the sun appears (in the morning), don’t perform a prayer till the sun appears in full, and when the lower edge of the sun sets, don’t perform a prayer till it sets completely. And you should not seek to pray at sunrise or sunset for the sun rises between two sides of the head of the devil (or Satan).”

      Volume 7, Book 71, Number 619:

      Narrated Nazi’:

Abdullah bin ‘Umar said, “The Prophet said, ‘Fever is from the heat of Hell, so put it out (cool it) with water.’ “ Nafi’ added: ‘Abdullah used to say, “O Allah! Relieve us from the punishment,” (when he suffered from fever).

      Volume 9, Book 87, Number 123:

      Narrated Anas:

The Prophet said, “Whoever has seen me in a dream, then no doubt, he has seen me, for Satan cannot imitate my shape.

      Volume 9, Book 87, Number 124:

      Narrated Abu Qatada:

The Prophet said, “A good dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan. So whoever has seen (in a dream) something he dislike, then he should spit without saliva, thrice on his left and seek refuge with Allah from Satan, for it will not harm him, and Satan cannot appear in my shape.”

      Volume 4, Book 54, Number 513:

      Narrated Abu Qatada:

The Prophet said, “A good dream is from Allah, and a bad or evil dream is from Satan; so if anyone of you has a bad dream of which he gets afraid, he should spit on his left side and should seek Refuge with Allah from its evil, for then it will not harm him.”

      Volume 2, Book 21, Number 245:

      Narrated ‘Abdullah :

A person was mentioned before the Prophet (p.b.u.h.) and he was told that he had kept on sleeping till morning and had not got up for the prayer. The Prophet said, “Satan urinated in his ears.”

      Volume 4, Book 54, Number 509:

      Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, “Yawning is from Satan and if anyone of you yawns, he should check his yawning as much as possible, for if anyone of you (during the act of yawning) should say: ‘Ha’, Satan will laugh at him.”

      Volume 4, Book 54, Number 516:

      Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, “If anyone of you rouses from sleep and performs the ablution, he should wash his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out thrice, because Satan has stayed in the upper part of his nose all the night.”

      Volume 6, Book 61, Number 550:

      Narrated Abdullah:

The Prophet said, “It is a bad thing that some of you say, ‘I have forgotten such-and-such verse of the Qur’an,’ for indeed, he has been caused (by Allah) to forget it. So you must keep on reciting the Qur’an because it escapes from the hearts of men faster than camel do.”

      Volume 6, Book 61, Number 552:

      Narrated Abu Musa:

The Prophet said, “Keep on reciting the Qur’an, for, by Him in Whose Hand my life is, Quran runs away (is forgotten) faster than camels that are released from their tying ropes.”

      And I am still laughing!

    "Nay, I swear by the Day of Resurrection;
Nay, I swear by the self-reproaching soul.
Thinketh man that We shall not assemble his bones?
Yea, verily. We are Able to restore his very fingers!
But man would fain deny what is before him.
He asketh: When will be this Day of Resurrection?
    But when sight is confounded
    And the moon is eclipsed
And sun and moon are united,
On that day man will cry: Whither to flee!
    Alas! No refuge!
Unto thy Lord is the recourse that day.
On that day man is told the tale of that which he hath sent before and left behind.
Oh, but man is a telling witness against himself,
    Although he tender his excuses.
Stir not thy tongue herewith to hasten it.
Lo! upon Us (resteth) the putting together thereof and the reading thereof.
    And when We read it, follow thou the reading;
Then lo! upon Us (resteth) the explanation thereof.
Nay, but ye do love the fleeting Now
    And neglect the Hereafter.
That day will faces be resplendent,
    Looking toward their Lord;
And that day will other faces be despondent,
Thou wilt know that some great disaster is about to fall on them.
Nay, but when the life cometh up to the throat
And men say: Where is the wizard (who can save him now)?
    And he knoweth that it is the parting;
    And agony is heaped on agony;
Unto thy Lord that day will be the driving.
For he neither trusted, nor prayed.
    But he denied and flouted.
Then went he to his folk with glee.
    Nearer unto thee and nearer,
Again nearer unto thee and nearer (is the doom).
Thinketh man that he is to be left aimless?
Was he not a drop of fluid which gushed forth?
Then he became a clot; then (Allah) shaped and fashioned
And made of him a pair, the male and female.
Is not He (Who doeth so) Able to bring the dead to life?"

To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable: 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’

13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’

14 “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” (Luke 18: 9-14)

One day at work, i was absent minded not knowing that my boss was calling me, so he sat and asked me what its was all about i told him and he smiled and said that it was not a problem. I never understand what he meant by it wasn't a problem getting my husband back, he said he used a spell to get his wife back when she left him for another man and now they are together till date and at first i was shocked hearing such thing from my boss. He gave me an email address of the great spell caster who helped him get his wife back, i never believed this would work but i had no choice that to get in contact with the spell caster which i did, and he requested for my information and that of my husband to enable him cast the spell and i sent him the details, but after two days, my mom called me that my husband came pleading that he wants me back, i never believed it because it was just like a dream and i had to rush down to my mothers place and to my greatest surprise, my husband was kneeling before me pleading for forgiveness that he wants me and the kid back home, then i gave Happy a call regarding sudden change of my husband and he made it clear to me that my husband will love me till the end of the world, that he will never leave my sight. Now me and my husband is back together again and has started doing pleasant things he hasn't done before, he makes me happy and do what he is suppose to do as a man without nagging. I have be looking for solution,I fall into the hands of fake spell caster, they rough me off and took my money without help.I have cried,I have weep"and tears runs out of eyes. The silentness in my heart brought me to the deepest path of failure that I lost my job. Crying all day, because of my life was lonely. So thanks to happy that came into my life and brought me the greatest joy that was lost. I saw his mail while browsing and I contact and tell him what I am passing through with no doubt because what saw about him,was enough to believe. And I was given words of solution on what to do. I can't really help thinking about it I have tried to see what I can do, I manage to provide him some materials and he help me with the rest, after casting the spell, 2days after he came with rose on his hand and I was even about going out,i saw him in front of my door when he sees me he knee and said he is dying I should forgive him and accept him back he was crying,I can't wait to let him finish I quickly crab him and kiss him, just then" he said he is restless without me, just as the Dr has said he will be. He brought out a ring and put it on my hand. Our wedding day was scheduled,2week after we got married. today makes it 1 month and we are living happily I don't know how to praise him enough, he has done me a thing I can never forget. And I can't really share to myself alone, I want y'all to help me praise him because if it is wasn't for him I already plan of committing suicide.
