  1. In a tale the gloomy cat talked to the weird woman he sometimes talked to. "-I´m the only real thing you have encountered, lady. And I´m worse than most standard pets: death lives in me, it´s my zodiac Daddy. I don´t talk crap about being bad. I´m like winter: harsh and neutral" the cat said. "-But I must believe in springtime, I cannot just endure harsh times with no shopping & dour cats; I must be able to enjoy myself!" the woman ranted and closed her eyes (so the reality of what she daydreamed about would not cause a permanent impression).

    1. The philosopher in the story appreciates the straight-talking, non-committal cats. She finds them refreshing, if a little bleak of outlook.

As a collaborator, she would sometimes like to feel not alone, she would like to feel the solid warmth of the cat's back against hers. But she accepts the reality that the cat's cold explanations are its best efforts. And that matters.

She wonders about the cat's Zodiac convictions. Does it read it's horoscope daily?

    2. One day a woman called Mrs Weirdwood had asked the cat in the tale if he could say which horses she should bet on (using his zodiac knowledge). But the cat had declined, saying that his understanding of sun signs was limited to psychological profiles.
