Why bullies are bad for everyone

"In Germany, the Nazis came for the Communists and I didn't speak up because I was not a Communist. Then they came for the Jews and I didn't speak up because I was not a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn't speak up because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics and I was a Protestant so I didn't speak up. Then they came for me … By that time there was no one to speak up for anyone."

  2. hey guys, for everyone who is interested, this quotation is not entirely correct like m.e. posted it. the problem is, there are a lot of variations of this quotation (partly did by niemöller himself, partly by other people). his second wife said in 2000 "The trouble with Martin Niemoeller’s „famous quotation“ is that he never wrote it down – which enabled so many hitchhikers over the years to „put themselves on the waggon“. In his „Confession of Guilt“ (as he called it himself: Schuldbekenntnis in German) the Communists came first, then the Trade Unionists and then the Socialists and then the Jews. NO ONE ELSE.” (source: http://martin-niemoeller-stiftung.de/martin-niemoeller/was-sagte-niemoeller-wirklich#more-212)

  3. All of the Nazis, Communists and Jews are dead, now they're all equal and none of what they did made any difference.

    1. How can you say their deaths made no difference???

I mean, by killing the Ukranians who welcomed the Nazis as liberators, the Slavs that weren't killed turned from potential allies to enemies, and the Red Army's ranks swelled!

Those uncountable casualties stopped the Nazis, and the sheer force of numbers overwhelmed them, rendering their technological advantage moot. Quantity has a quality of its own!

1 Tiger tank beats a T-34 or a Sherman. 20 T-34's and Shermans beat a Tiger any time of the day.
Those that got destroyed got destroyed to give a chance to those that didn't get destroyed to destroy the fearsome destroyer - the Tiger tank in this instance.

Imagine you're a Jew in 1940. You notice all those Jews disappearing whenever the Nazis came, and you'd also notice that the Nazis are intent on war by noticing all the countries they've annexed suddenly. If you had a modicum of common sense, you'd realize that the Nazis had something to do with the disappearance of Jews, and disappear so you don't disappear by the Nazi's hand. The decision to stay could make all the difference and lead to your death!
Oh, and some could choose to save the Jews, risking their lives to give them a chance to save themselves, and if they die, their death will make a difference on the amount of saved Jews, by reducing the amount of saved Jews, since now there would be one less individual saving the Jews, and the purpose of their death is to stop the Jews from escaping.

And since the Nazis were well-known for quality and the expense of quantity, every Nazi that died, and every tank destroyed, hit the Nazis hard, as they couldn't replace all those expensive and time-consuming to train troops.
Every Nazi death served the Allies purpose, and every Allied death could be easily replaced, since they had the numbers and could afford quantity, unlike Nazis who focused mostly on quality, while completely ignoring the quantity.

Yeah, I got nothing better to do anyway. So, you know, enjoy. :)

    2. Hey Socioempath-

      I like your comment.:)

Germans do know quality-they make great cars!!!

Speaking of cars-there are some American companies, that make nice cars, too.:)

I wonder if M.E. has her pre-order in, for a DeLorean???

I can picture her, in one of those cars, for some reason.:)

      ~Vegas

      Delete
    3. Yeah, Germans really know their quality!

But Americans also got a lot of great cars! Certainly, muscle cars have a certain appeal to them.

Oh, and if you're looking for great movies with muscle cars, look no further than Gone in 60 Seconds (1974) and Vanishing Point (1971)! Those movies are, in my opinion, great - once the action starts, there's not very much unnecessary details and needless dialogue, just a lot of car crashes and chases, plus they get to the point quickly. Perfect for when you don't know what to watch.

Well, perhaps you are right. Or perhaps not. I haven't really thought about it, as I didn't really find it all that interesting.

After all, we can't have unfounded, possibly false, beliefs being spoken as truth, now can we?

  4. Interesting post for this web site. Speaking of non-violent finctioning socipaths, they are absolutely not beyond bullying to achieve their aims. I'd like to hear some honest comments on this matter.

Would you bully someonw to achieve your aims?

Would this depend on what the aim is, how important the aim is?

Would you do it to get out of trouble? Or perhaps only as a last resort?

Feel free to add to these questions?

    1. Personally, bullying is not out of the question. But it also isn't my "go-to" mode of operation. It just depends on if bullying would be the most effective method to get what I want.

As a sociopath, how do you react to being bullied? Does it depend on the situation? Any other details? As a non-sociopath, I'm curious to what a reaction of a sociopath would be to being bullied.

  7. "A fascist believes the most important thing in your life is your death"

That's a quote from the Jonathan Meades documentary. Remember I said the same thing weeks ago, how I believed all experiences in your life will be nothing compared to that of birth and death? That was before I saw the documentary.

    1. Wow, interesting! Great find! That's impressive how you said it before you found the quote!

I would like to know, which do you think is more important, birth or death, and why?

Would you also mind elaborating on why do you think any and all experiences in life are nothing compared to birth or death? On what basis did you base your opinion that life and death are the two most important experiences in life, and all other experiences pale in comparison to those two experiences?

      Just curious, s'all.

    1. Well, there certainly were some good ideas that came from the Nazis.

I have read somewhere that they were the first to prove that there was a link between cigarette smoking and lung cancer. This was a great idea, to check if there was link between cigarette smoking and lung cancer.

We have also gained a lot of data on, and improved, our rocketry. Thanks to the unique ideas of former Nazi scientists, we were able to land of the Moon.

There are more good ideas that came from the Nazis, but I forgot them.

    2. What I'm saying is that Europe is now under threat of becoming non-European. Just as Hitler warned, the European people have given up the struggle that is life, and are marching off a cliff in the name of "human rights".

      Delete
    3. Yeah, right, immigration, multicultiralism and all that.

Why is it relevant that Hitler/Nazis said it?
They weren't the only ones, and I'm certain neither the first ones, to have said it. There are other people and groups warning of the dangers of that threat.

I don't really get it. Why Nazis?

      Delete
    4. I don't focus on the Nazi party -- the globalists/leftists do, to force an emotional reaction that dissuades genuine discussion and inspection. That's just where the OP quote comes from. So I wanted to point out that the Nazis weren't wrong.

      Delete
    5. Of course the Nazis weren't completely wrong. No one is ever completely wrong, everyone is bound to be right about at least something.

I mean, based on that, stating that the Nazis weren't completely wrong is merely stating the obvious. You didn't really have to point it out, as it's obvious, really.

      Delete
    6. I'm saying that they weren't wrong in their central conviction.

Of course everyone's ideas are a mix of right and wrong, knowledge and ignorance.

I think most people are smart enough to assume what I'm talking about when I say they weren't wrong, and I did clarify when asked. I don't see what the problem is.

      Delete
    7. Well of course nobody is really wrong with their "central conviction"!

Nobody really likes to believe that their core beliefs and ideas are wrong. Technically, everybody is "right" with their central conviction.

Nazis believed in their central conviction wholeheartedly. They wouldn't have supported the Nazi party and Hitler if they didn't.

I don't really see why you like to point out the obvious, but oh well. Whatever floats your boat.

Some people hold as their central conviction ideas that are in direct opposition to the convictions, even the central conviction, of others. How can neither side be wrong?

    1. Lol, mental midget? That's a new one.

      ---

But, every side believes their side is right.

Which side is "right" is depends on your point of view, and the sode you support. Us-vs-them.

For the immigrants, the Nazi convictions yiu talked are wrong, because they want to immigrate. For those who believe that multiculturalism is bad, the Nazi convictions could be considered as correct.

Again, it depends on your point of view, goals, etc., which is what I meant by saying that everybody's central conviction is "technically right".

I don't personally think he's a narc, I think his "antics" were merely a distraction and to entertain the masses - his public persona. Look at the bottom line - he's old, he's got and tried everything, the only thing left to do was to become the president of the USA. It's like he didn't really give a crap if he would ein at all, playing it all as a game.

If all the politicians are boring and quiet, then the one who is entertaining and loud stands out and is perceived as "special".

So effective were his antics that they made the world think about him, and made you, and other individuals, to consider moving away.

Plus, Putin have him kudos, before the election, and after he won. I don't think it's that easy to gain Putin's respect.
