Psychopath Evolution

Biochemistry PhD and science fiction author Haldane B. Doyle chats Confessions of a Sociopath author M.E. Thomas about domestication of species, threat perceptions, emotions, conscious and subconscious processing, education, childhood development, existential dread, fear of death, mob behavior, Neanderthals vs. homo sapiens, and living a self-driven and iconoclastic life (mostly) without fear.

  1. Awesome conversation! Apart from the the government getting to euthanise people at a given age to be determined by referendum which were two of the worst ideas I've ever heard, I loved it.

  3. Hey why isn't Blair Black up on the blog yet? He got skipped! He was awesome too. Now, there's a man that understands governments. You won't catch him rolling up his sleeve for any government sponsored euthanasia programs I can tell you. He'd have the government euthanising themselves at a given age to be dertermined by referendum.

  4. I've got a good idea. How about a three way chat with Haldane and Blair? They're both awesome. And then Blair could explain to Haldane what's wrong with the idea of the government getting to euthanise anyone - let alone him - at a given age to be determined by referendum. That would be awesome. And Haldane would get it in no time because he's super bright and lovely.
