  1. This reminds me of a sociopathic teacher who i worked with who made fun of a student with webbed fingers...And others joined in How very cruel and mean. They say alot of sociopaths are drawn to the helping professions.

    2. No he doesn't. It's automated for him. He does it all the time. He doesn't feel it. He just hopes people will like him when he does it.

    3. Maybe it isn't conscious for him. so what if that is the case. Even if it stems from a delusion/coping mechanism does it make him less valid or authentic?

IRL I might notice this but I would maybe find him charming nonetheless . it annoys you, but how come?

      Delete
    4. well maybe charming is not the word. Maybe I just like to be around good energy. Like Sceli's.

  13. I met this girl recently. She's a sociopath. Something weird happened. In Sherlock season 2 episode 3, at the end, when Sherlock is with Moriarty on the roof, Moriarty at some point stares at Sherlock analyzing him closely and he says : "You're me !"

Exactly that happened to me. I could totally see myself in another body. That was me. It is me. It's me.

Like we're the exact same thing in different variations.

It makes you feel special. But at the same time it makes you want to fuck everything up. At least that was what it was like for me.

Anyway. Suicide for sociopaths: It's so easy it's "frightening". In the same episode I talked about earlier Moriarty kills himself on impulse. Just like *snap*. Like spitting a piece of sand out your mouth when you notice it's there. I had a friend once that killed himself. He was a sociopath. He shot himself in the head. I get it. I admire him. I smiled when I heard. My brother told me. I didn't even go to the funeral. I know we talked previously about suicide and I told him "Omg man, that's gotta be the most awesome thing ever. I mean, if you do it, that would rock, it would blow my mind, seriously."

And next week he did it. :))

Do you feel you might be partially responsible for the suicide?

      Delete
    2. I could be. Nobody will ever know. But that's not why I'm sorry about. I'm sorry that I had my phone turned off when it happened cause he wanted to call me. His girlfriend told me the next day that he called her and told her that he called and my phone was off. Yeah, that's what I'm sorry about.

    6. Nice sharing :)
Can you tell more about that girl? What made you realize what she is (or might be, I wouldn't recommend you to jump into conclusions so quick)?
Actually, I read that sociopaths aren't prone to suicide and rarely do it, at least not for usual reasons. I wouldn't do it - why should I end my life, what about you, Rem?

  14. Ugly is the absolute first thing my mother would notice and say about a stranger. She'd talk about the sickly kids with their noses running like they were the ugliest most disgusting worthless creatures. THEN she'd turn around and M A K E us befriend a dumb and socially awkward "meeskite" from a "good" family for charity and tell us we are good people if we do this.

She can't like certain actors, no matter how talented because they're unattractive. Until they grow on her, and then she b r a g s that she finds them so interesting.

    1. The woman decided to hire Rich.

He had that special something, which all woman can identify in a man.
He knew how to make a woman feel beautiful, and all woman need that, even beautiful ones.

But, for the moment, there was a killer loose and Rich was a Private Detective and the woman needed that.

Rich was told he may have to go undercover in one of the doctor's group therapy sessions.

He may have to pose in a number of guises, even as a woman, if need be, because they had to smoke out a killer.

They did not know who the killer was, but they had had an unfortunate event occur, last year. It may be linked or it may have simply cursed the practice----all of them.

One of their doctors made a terrible mistake. She almost lose the license for the whole practice. She lost her mind for a period of time. She did a crazy and unacceptable action.

Right now, the five woman were deciding if they should tell Rich the group's secret. It was Monica. She was the weak link and she brought trouble down on all of them.

They banded together to protect her, but resented her, too.

They would tell Rich after the afternoon's group therapy session.

Right now, TNP, MEE, Lunar, Rembrant, Mindless Pleasures, David, UKan and Kanny were filing in.

The patients had to think the doctors had it together enough that they should be trusted with the patient's deepest secrets.

These patients had many secrets, too, as do all people.

      *To be continued*

      Delete
    2. The group therapy was in session.

A handsome man with an air of confident aplomb began.
      Meet TNP

He was someone all woman want, but few woman could tame.

That was what made them want him.

All woman want the untamed animal, but they want to be the one to tame him. Such was the case with a man like TNP.

Monica and Zoe appreciated him, but they were therapists, after all.

One could not fraternize with one's patients. Could one? Not if one wanted to hold on to one's professional license.

      Right, Monica?

      Delete
    3. Rich is being hired as the muscle. He will have to keep off drugs at sw headquarters so he can properly protect the wanted women. CEO says publicly that Zoe must button her blouse one more so Rich can keep it together. But Zoe is a tester. She keeps forgetting, ...as per CEO.

    3. simple minded is what makes it funny, mee.

okay clarification (sheeesh) re the bike:

sociopath - b) glad (now he'll get a new bike cause the seat came off this one and the pedals got messed up....he's acting sad cause daddy's watching.. daddy didn't see what he did with the bike though)
psychopath - c) really fucking pissed off (when he's through with the bike it will be toast! is that daddy's tire iron by the garage door?)

  23. Speaking of bikes, I was cycling and a cycling random old man appeared in front of me, I decided to slow down because there was a small gap where we both wouldn't fit and pressed brake buttons on the handle too hard. So I flew to front (not too much, my legs were hanging on the wheel) and landed on my palms. I wasn't sad nor glad, I was a bit surprised, a bit annoyed because my palms were itchy and one leg was hurt a bit, but I was also surprisingly cheerful, I mean it really was an interesting experience. I quickly got up, sat on bike and continued cycling. So, please analyze this and share your experiences, if you have any ^^

    2. I was "really fucking pissed off" when I fell from my skateboard and broke my arm (quite some time ago), but I'm not a whining cry-baby to be pissed after the accident I mentioned above.

      Delete
    3. Sounds like when I've fallen over as a kid on a bike. The first time it happened I was like 3 and dislocated my elbow, though. Still, I wasn't angry or irritated. I generally take injuries and pain a lot less seriously than most people do, but that's probably because most people are even more coddled and protected by modern life than I am. I don't think this is unusual even among empaths, provided they have some experience.

  25. Finnish murder balladsNovember 11, 2012 at 6:47 PM

Pohjonen is kind of a punk accordion renegade. He sports a mohawk, and his other projects mix accordion music with wrestling, or farm tools and animals. It's all songs about murder, which he says are deeply embedded in Finnish culture: "There's even a saying that if there was a wedding and three people were not killed, it wasn't a good wedding."

The Finns have a dark sense of humor, to say the least.

"These murder songs are, at the same time, they are frightening and they are also fascinating," Pohjonen tells NPR's Melissa Block. "Sometimes there is admiration towards the murders. It's a true fact that we have songs that are sung a funny way, and we're putting less fear there."

  26. I'm with Haven on this one. When one falls off a bike one may be hurt and in pain but the word sad would not be characterizing the situation. One would not be sad or glad. I believe this despite the definition of sad below actually fits the situation in the picture, and I would believe the question and the answer choices were poorly prepared.

I could have added the third answervoption and say ugly just because I enjoy giving stupid answers to stupid questions. I actually have done that several times in person. Like one time during an interview the idiot asked me 'what do you think of computers?' I mean what kind of stupid bullshit question is that? I answered 'I really like them' and looked at his face with anticipation, hoping he'd try again.

    sad |sad|
    adjective ( sadder , saddest )
1 feeling or showing sorrow; unhappy : I was sad and subdued | they looked at her with sad, anxious faces.
    • causing or characterized by sorrow or regret; unfortunate and regrettable : he told her the sad story of his life | a sad day for us all.
2 informal pathetically inadequate or unfashionable : somebody's priorities are pretty sad.
3 (of dough) heavy through having failed to rise.
