The idea that power over others and success through power is unquestionable evidence of superiority as a human. This person´s identity is actually constructed through their rational, non spiritual belief system which leads them to the idea that they don´t need to consider a universal order beyond what is scientifically proven. For me it is so limited in terms of world view. The fact that empathy is viewed by this reader as weakness shows a great lack of emotional development and a high level of narcissismAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13438409800560004507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-628748600098131100.post-46346315603284345682019-02-04T13:06:48.993-08:002019-02-04T13:06:48.993-08:001. Being as naturally explicitly charming as ME is not the default; a lot of us are more introverted and more interested in doing our own stuff than interacting with other people much. Your inclinations towards science (like mine) also would ensure your focus is on analysing the natural world, and humans as objects of your analyses, than objects to socialise with (and waste time charming, since they are of no use). But it's an acquired skill, refined over the years, more easily acquired if you're extrovert by nature, and ultimately, only necessary on occasion.
Also, be aware that psychopathy is dimensional and more an emergent property - NOT taxonomic. Read Kevin Dutton's 'The Wisdom of Psychopaths' especially his music mixer analogy, to understand that. Also, ignore any research connected to R Hare and his associates over the years, including the PCL-R assessed stuff; and focus on the traits as outlined within Lillienfeld's PPI-R measure. That will give you a more rounded and realistic basis of an accurate research model for that particular constellation of traits.
Furthermore, if you want to delve into the topic in greater detail, acquire and read Christopher Patrick's second edition of 'The Handbook of Psychopathy', 2nd ed, 2018.

Welcome to the sorority, OP. 8-)K@noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-628748600098131100.post-81442010859510282252019-01-30T11:28:36.425-08:002019-01-30T11:28:36.425-08:00Very rare to feel empathy for someone you don’t tr...Very rare to feel empathy for someone you don’t trust, but not impossible?? Clearly a sociopath, but he has a weakness, and that is his deep need for validation and acceptance due to the fact that he never recieved this as a child. He has all the right tools in him to be high functioning, and if he refocused his goals toward something that properly benefits him (instead of irrationally dedicating his time and energy to one person), he would be much happierAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-628748600098131100.post-55092537350677388212019-01-28T08:12:24.565-08:002019-01-28T08:12:24.565-08:00A dragon advisor in a fairytale told an attention-...A dragon advisor in a fairytale told an attention-seeking nobody: "-Try to be something, a somebody."
