This will be interesting. The talks with various people classed as sociopathic are always intriguing. The way you address time how sociopaths evolve as people is I think a first. Nuro atypical people are not broken or ill but different. And no so different as some empath like to think.
The basic motivations are the same, but experienced and expressed in a different manner, in my experience. Some different emphases perhaps. Non-affiliative. Perhaps the clarity you mentioned earlier is a lack of an emotional lens, less rich? To me, I see drastic miscalculations sometimes, "not understanding human" is how I phrase it. I think things are less complex, more raw for sociopaths. Just my observations, of course.
I was reflecting on this a little. When my Favourite Cat left me, it was a drawn out process over three or four weeks.
I realise I have done something very similar with the Other Cat. He went too far, and I have systematically and patiently taken control away and re-established my own path. I have executed perfectly.
I suppose my Favourite Cat felt similarly, acted similarly in leaving me.
